I found a working DD-WRT firmware for TL-WA701ND V2. So, I’m
sharing it to you.
DD-WRT is Open Source router firmware. Some companies’
routers’ hardware support many features but they are not usable because
companies disable them. But, firmware like DD-WRT and Open-WRT provide full
features that hardware is capable of.
EX. TP-LINK TL-WA701ND is a Access Point that converts wired
connection into wireless connection and work as client as well. But, the
hardware on it can also work as
- wireless repeater,
- advanced MAC filter,
- Bridge mode,
- Bandwidth Control,
- Detailed Stastitics,
- Unlock more channels for stronger signals,
- VPN Connection,
- DNS and more
but, it is disabled by TP-LINK. After
installing DD-WRT you can do all these things.

After Opening DD-WRT you will see Model No. - TP-Link TL-MR3020. but, dont worry, it's because both MR3020 and WA701ND have same CPUs.

- I used this firmware on my own TL-WA701ND V2. It is fully working.but, I am not responsible for anything wrong caused to your router.
- Dont try it on WA701ND V1
