To increase computer's performance and battery(for laptops). you can remove unnecessary visual effects. such as screen animations, fade out and fade in animations and others.
To remove them
- Right Click My Computer and click Properties
- Then go to Advanced System Settings.
- Click on Performance's Settings
- Then Click Adjust for best Performance.
- Click Apply and OK.
- You are done.
